GET SOME SEAT TIME

Turn One Track Days are designed to offer car enthusiasts the opportunity to learn the capabilities of their cars and advance the limits of their driving abilities. We separate groups based on experience level, which provides a comfortable track day that anybody can be a part of.

RUN GROUPS:

HPDE GROUP (HIGH-PERFORMANCE DRIVER'S EDUCATION)

The HPDE group is perfect for those with little-to-no track experience. If you’re ready to get out on the circuit and fine-tune your skills, the HPDE class is right for you! The program is a full day with a specialized curriculum in the classroom as well as on track sessions.   We will pair you with one of our instructors, who will ride along in your car with you all day. All Turn One Performance Driving Instructors are nationally trained with years of experience. Equipped with communication devices, your instructor will guide you along the track and teach you proper techniques/procedures.

In HPDE, you bring your car, and will have your own sessions with other HPDE students.  These sessions are established to provide the utmost in safety on the track as you are honing your skills with your instructor.  Your instructor will provide you with vital information on proper techniques and track procedures, both verbal and written. Instructors will provide verbal feedback after every session.  In addition, each Instructor will submit written feedback for each student through Driving Evals, which is an electronic logbook. Instructors evaluate students on various driving skills.  Students also evaluate their Instructor, the event and the classroom.  Evaluations are stored in permanent student and Instructor logbooks.

If an instructor feels that you are qualified, they may sign you off as qualified for the “Solo” group. Timing for signoff will include various factors including the student development, car prep and condition and instructor feedback.  There is not a magic number of track days for this signoff process to be completed.  Each student is unique.
