High-Speed Pursuit 

Turn One’s High-Speed Pursuit Training program gives officers the knowledge, control, and confidence needed to navigate high-pressure driving situations safely and effectively.

Combining focused classroom instruction with controlled, hands-on track exercises, this course strengthens the skills required for emergency vehicle operations, pursuit safety, vehicle dynamics, and split-second decision-making at speed.

 

Training includes practical exercises such as:

• Skid pad training

• Crash-avoidance and slalom exercises

• High-speed vehicle control

• Pursuit driving exercises

• Emergency vehicle operations

 

Officers train in both Turn One vehicles and their own department vehicles, building a stronger understanding of vehicle handling, performance, and control in real-world pursuit situations.
