About The Event
High-Speed Pursuit Training
The High-Speed Pursuit Training Course is available to City, County, and State Law Enforcement Officers in South Carolina and surrounding states. This advanced training program is designed to improve officer confidence, vehicle control, and decision-making during high-speed pursuit situations through both classroom instruction and hands-on driving exercises.
Instruction & Safety Focus
Training is led by Turn One Senior Instructors, including current and former Law Enforcement Officers, combining real-world experience with professional performance driving instruction. The course includes classroom sessions focused on vehicle dynamics, braking, steering, weight transfer, defensive maneuvers, and pursuit safety.
Practical on-track exercises are conducted at Carolina Motorsports Park and include:
Wet Skid Pad Training
Crash Avoidance & Slalom Exercises
High-Speed Vehicle Control
Pursuit Driving Exercises
Officers will train in both Turn One vehicles and their department vehicles to better understand real-world vehicle dynamics and handling capabilities under pursuit conditions.
Program Details & Registration
Cost: $350 per officer
Group Rate: $300 per officer (groups of six or more)
Credits Earned: 5 hours – High-Speed Pursuit Training
